Oracle Product Manager/Strategy 4-ProdDev in Quincy, Massachusetts
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

The team focuses on integration, and key infrastructural and architectural components of the Sales Cloud application. Your mission is to translate your customer, market and competitive insight into initiatives to develop innovative products customers want to buy and love to use. As a member of the Oracle Sales Cloud Integration and Cloud Enablement Product Management team, your specific charter will be to:
Define high priority integration scenarios that align with customer demand and Oracle strategic markets, and then specify and drive development and enhancements to the integration framework accordingly
Ensure customers can successfully integrate to the Sales Cloud application, using standards based technologies for web services, service oriented architectures, bulk data management (import/export), integration event model/user notifications, and embedded UIs
Work with organizational counterparts to specify and drive development of integration flows and framework features
Interact directly with customers, partners, and Oracle s internal sales teams to evangelize Sales Cloud s integration capabilities, support and validate our consumer s integration approaches and solution architectures, and gather feedback from the field then translate into future product requirements
The successful product manager will:
Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Have a strong technical background. Previous experience with integration technologies and processes, or previous coding experience is a plus.
Be hands on, able to design and implement enterprise architectures, integrations, and associated demos
Be able to identify product gaps and create development specifications
Have experience with the entire product development lifecycle, especially Agile/Scrum methodologies
Employ a persistent and transparent prioritization process that leads to clear rational product road maps
Identify and document best practices for field implementations
