Griswold Home Care, Inc Community Relatioins Coordinator in Needham, Massachusetts

Seeking outgoing and energetic individual to promote our home care agency. Griswold Home Care is accepting applications for a high energy professional Community Liaison. The Community Liaison will serve as the community outreach liaison, generating referrals for home care by building relationships with physicians, long term care, independent and assisted living facilities, and other community resources. Generates leads that will go to the offices by connecting and establishing relationships with referral sources within their territories. Responsible for regularly attending and coordinating various private and community-based programs/events throughout the year. Works closely with the Care Coordinators and the Caregiver Coordinators to create a complete, successful, satisfying and on-going life cycle of exceptional services to our clients and Caregivers. Researches, builds, and develops new referral sources, client lists, non-profit organizations, and other appropriate groups and, once secured, transfers relationship responsibility to the Client Relationship Specialist. Initiates contact by participating in various groups and organizations to encourage awareness and use of services. Promotes use of the CEU programs whenever possible. Utilizes Outlook Calendar appointment/event scheduling. Utilizes ClearCare and any other necessary systems for complete and accurate referral source data capture, tracking, transfer, notes, and follow up. Conceptualizes comprehensive and innovative marketing approach which enhances the image of and generates maximum exposure for GHC services and programs, Recommends most effective use of marketing and promotion to increase referral source and consumer awareness of the full range of services, enhance perception of services, and create positive image of the value of the services GHC offers. Initiates and develops marketing partnerships to achieve greater awareness of GHC services and programs. Identifies new marketing opportunities (prospecting) by monitoring market trends and community activities, community events, and customers needs. Responsibilities: * Responsible for accurately tracking mileage and expenses for monthly submission and reimbursement according to GHC policies. * Must be able to see and interpret information within our systems * Strong verbal and written skills * Excellent computer skills * Community Liaison Qualifications: * Community Liaison/outside marketing a plus * Highly motivated, results driven, with the ability to develop and build strong, lasting relationships. * Excellent planning, organization and presentation skills. * Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills. * Ability to work independently while maintaining professional integrity. * Must have reliable transportation. * Excellent computer skills * Pleasant phone manner * High level of emotional intelligence and empathy as well as dedication to our company * This job description reflects assignment of essential functions, it does not proscribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned, and it can be changed or altered at any time
