We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to join our Separations Instrument team, headquartered in Milford, MA. Reporting to the Manager of the Separations Technologies Product Management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for activities designed to promote and support the portfolio of multi-dimensional liquid chromatographic systems. This includes developing plans for alignment with our short-term global business objectives as well as the long-term strategic objectives. In addition to supporting these in-market products, this individual will also be actively engaged with internal cross-functional teams and external collaborators in support of automating complex LC and LC/MS workflows.
As a part of a team of product managers, the successful candidate will be highly engaged in the definition, development, and commercialization of the next innovation in LC technologies as well as other emerging analytical technologies to support the evolving needs of the analytical laboratory.
Up to 25% of domestic and international travel is expected.
Help to define the overall product strategy and roadmap
Engage in both market and user research to support the definition of new technologies
Create business justifications for new technology
Define user and market requirements and create the corresponding development process documentation
Work within a cross-functional team to support the development and commercialization of new products
Develop the core positioning and messaging of products in the context of an analytical portfolio
Develop product launch materials and manage product launches to ensure market success
Engage the sales and support organizations through meetings, trainings, and internal communication tools
Promote product/system technology at tradeshows, through webinars and seminars, and at customer sites
Deliver product line revenue forecasts
Perform sales trending analysis
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field. (MBA preferred)
Technical experience with analytical laboratory products and laboratory workflows desired
Minimum of 4 years experience in sales, business development or marketing required
Proven ability to manage and complete multiple projects with tight timelines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proven ability to influence and manage within project teams
Foreign language skills are a plus
