Overview:

The Senior E-Commerce Project Specialist is responsible for the organization and successful management of multiple simultaneous projects for the TJX Digital team. This includes primary accountability for timeline and milestone management of assigned projects including UX & digital social site initiatives provided by the Creative Project Manager, as well as consolidation and effective communication of team feedback to assure cross channel creative alignment. As the senior e-commerce project specialist, you will present at and/or serve as the voice for the creative team during team meetings with multiple levels of senior management. You will follow existing project management processes and strategies but also provide measurable contributions to new methodologies and strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed calendar for monthly projects. Directly accountable for on time execution from start to finish of digital and website creative projects, including larger scale desktop and mobile UX and digital social initiatives.

  • Develop and manages workflow with creative, site management, marketing and brand teams to maintain brand consistency across all channels, while leading primary allocation of resources for project deliverability.

  • Manage the coordination of third party vendors and freelance developers/designers during creative projects. Reviews and QAs site creative and HTML for accuracy and alignment with strategy with a comprehensive focus on quality of work and brand voice. Makes minor HTML changes/modifications as needed.

  • Lead team meetings among multiple levels of senior management. Including agenda creation, facilitation of meeting task workflow, meeting notes & feedback capture and communicates action items to the creative team.

  • Attend scheduled UX meetings with tech, IT, and Visual Merchandising teams, serving as main liaison for creative timelines and budgets. Able to actively identify areas of creative impact, with basic to moderate understanding of user interfaces and user experience flows.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Decision Making:

  • Accountable for on time execution of digital and website creative projects.

  • Make decisions and/or recommendations on resources needed for projects.

  • Advise and provide UX project breakdowns for creative team members with the assistance of the Creative Project Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 3-4 years related experience.

  • Prior E-Commerce project management experience in a creative capacity is required.

  • Prior experience in a creative-based digital field is required.

  • Experience within multi-channel retailers preferred.

  • Highly collaborative and flexible with strong communication skills.

  • Strong verbal and visual articulation skills, with experience working with multiple groups and different personalities.

  • Experience interfacing with senior leadership is required

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment effortlessly and effectively

  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and technology

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Mac and PC platforms

  • Dreamweaver/HTML experience is preferred.

  • Experience leading UX / UI projects is preferred.
