Responsible for the handling of unsolicited medical information requests for Sunovion’s marketed products and products in development received from healthcare professionals (MD’s, DO’s, PharmD’s, RPh’s, RN’s/LPN’s, RT’s, amongst others) and consumers. Responsible for maintaining departmental turnaround times for responding to requests and for the development and maintenance of all related medical information responses (verbal and written) for Sunovion’s products. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining applicable pharmaceutical industry, disease state, Sunovion product, and competitor product knowledge.

Summary of Responsibilities: Responsible for the handling of unsolicited medical information requests for Sunovion’s marketed products and products in development received from healthcare professionals (MD’s, DO’s, PharmD’s, RPh’s, RN’s/LPN’s, RT’s, amongst others) and consumers. Responsible for maintaining departmental turnaround times for responding to requests and for the development and maintenance of all related medical information responses (verbal and written) for Sunovion’s products. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining applicable pharmaceutical industry, disease state, Sunovion product, and competitor product knowledge.

Essential Functions: •Provide scientifically balanced medical and drug information (in accordance with established department guidelines, resources, regulatory guidances) to unsolicited inquiries on Sunovion products received from multiple sources.

•Develop, revise and maintain standardized written and verbal responses to frequently asked questions for assigned product(s); participate in the medical scientific review committee (MSRC) meetings.

•Develop and maintain an appropriate level of product, disease state and competitor knowledge for assigned therapeutic area.

• Assist in supporting product launch and departmental strategic initiatives.

•Staff Medical Information booths at assigned scientific meetings.

Minimum Education Requirements: Masters

Experience Required: Up to 3 Years

Knowledge & Skills (General and Technical): •Minimum of a Master’s of Science degree in Pharmacy.

•Candidates with a Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent advanced degree are preferred.

•1+years Medical Information or equivalent pharmaceutical industry experience.

•Experience in medical writing and support of product launch required.

•Past medical writing experience preferred.

•Excellent oral and written communication skills.

•Customer service skills.

•Experience in scientific/medical literature identification and evaluation.

•Organizational and time management skills.

•Familiarity with PC based applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

•Ability to handle multiple-tasks.
