Wind River Environmental Regional Sales Manager in Marlborough, Massachusetts

The Regional Sales Manager will be joining a hunter-style sales force focused on growing the commercial customer base for Wind River Environmental. Responsible for overseeing and completing all aspects of new sales, assigning sales territories, setting sales goals. The sales manager also advises the sales representatives on ways to improve their sales performance.Reporting to the VP of Sales/Marketing, this position will be based in our corporate office in Marlborough, MA with weekly travel required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Hire/coach/train aggressive hunter-style sales force

  • Actively work with sales force on assistance with short and long-term opportunity pipelines into customer revenue

  • Work with management to build sales structures and reporting infrastructure

  • Initiate sales programs, following up on leads

  • Complete estimates and proposals, maintains a quote log

  • Initiate and process change orders, analyzing the impact on margins

  • Monitor and inspect lost jobs

  • Maintain updated competitor information

  • Participate in local trade associations and shows

  • Participate in ongoing process improvements

  • Setting and meeting sales and margin goals

  • Active involvement in achieving corporate goals

  • Expense and budget control

  • Ensure staff engagement, satisfaction and retention

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • True industrial/commercial B-to-B experience highly preferred

  • At least 2years sales and management experience

  • Ability to travel extensively 75% of the time

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalentexperience
