Product Manager Summer Intern

Hopkinton, MA

We are seeking a product management MBA intern with a tremendous amount of energy and passion to work on short strategic projects with direct impact on our products. You will be working on past paced project from day one and will experience the most productive twelve weeks that will hone your business skills.

The ideal candidate will have passion for building enterprise products and strong business skills. The candidate must possess a unique blend of technical, marketing research, strategic and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Study market landscape and surface new growth opportunities. Evaluate partnership options strategically and quantitatively to pick the best ROI options.

  • Understand customer needs and market trends to develop compelling new opportunities

  • Effectively communicate these to all the stakeholders

  • Define and prioritize platform and product feature sets.

  • Engage other functional organizations internally to synthesize ideas on the strategy, planning, and execution of next-generation products. Build consensus and drive execution on product and technology plans.

  • Determine business-case and feasibility

  • Work with the marketing team to develop the go-to-market strategy, helping all to understand product positioning, key benefits, and target customer needs

Skills

  • 3-4 years relevant experience

  • Considerable product lifecycle management experience with demonstrated impact and progression of responsibility

  • Knowledge of enterprise storage, datacenter and virtualization (VMware) is a plus.

  • Strong technical aptitude, including knowledge of storage technologies

  • Ability to combine big-thinking strategic perspective with a detail-oriented approach to problem solving;

  • Entrepreneurial, can-do approach coupled with a strong desire to make a difference

  • Demonstrates executive presence and ability to communicate at all levels

  • Superior communication and presentation skills;Self-starter who can define their own goals that will have impact on business.

Education

MBA Candidate required.

BS in Computer Science or experience in building tech products
