Oracle Manager – Post Sales Solution Engineering – NetSuite Professional Services in Marlborough, Massachusetts
This director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources within area of responsibility including people management and sales enablement. May also be responsible for project oversight of staff augmentation projects.
Accountable for fulfilling business goals, meeting budgets, maintaining strategic direction, and ensuring quality of delivery by consultants within their area of responsibility. Develops plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve business plan/strategic objectives. Typically manages multiple first-line managers and/or senior level individual contributors. Is accountable for managing a significant revenue stream and customer base. Ensures managers and teams adheres to appropriate methodologies and consistently utilizes Oracle best practices to accomplish assigned work product. Provides strategic leadership in staffing complex engagements. Resolves staffing issue in complex engagements. Serves as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements as necessary.
10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience. Direct line management experience including people, customer relationship and financial management preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus. Ability to travel as needed.

TheSales Lead - Account Management Office (AMO) is responsible for partneringwith Oracle NetSuite s Sales and Solution Consulting teams to sell NetSuiteProfessional Services solutions to customers post go-live. Specificresponsibilities include managing a team of experienced Solution Principals (akapost sales engineers) that assist the Oracle NetSuite Sales team in qualifying,scoping, developing, presenting, and closing of professional servicesengagements with existing customers. Continuallyassess and identify improvements to Professional Services Sales methods,processes, templates, and tools.
Developstrong relationships with key leaders in the Oracle NetSuite Sales and
Interactfrequently with other Professional Services Sales Practice Managers to sharebest practices.
Bachelor sdegree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized
6 years of experience in systems applications consulting with a
consultingfirm - OR - leading software provider.
Demonstratedexperience successfully leading Professional Services sales
cycles,including opportunity qualification, solution design, proposal
developmentand presentation, negotiation, and closing.
Exceptionalverbal and written communication is required with previous
experiencecreating and presenting Statement of Work for new and existing
Experiencedeveloping cost estimates for Professional Services efforts as
wellas presenting value propositions.
Candidatesshould have excellent customer relationship acumen; comfortable
interactingat the C level.
Experiencesuccessfully delivering presentations via web conferencing.
Excellentunderstanding of the software and high tech industry standard
businesspractices as related to core ERP processes.
Implementationexperience with financial applications and a good
understandingof accounting principles
Experiencein full cycle implementations of CRM, ERP and eCommerce
Excellentpresentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Consultingexperience with applications such as: Oracle, QuickBooks, Great Plains,SalesForce.com, Upshot, ACT, Goldmine, MAS 90, Siebel, Dynamics, SAP,PeopleSoft, JD Edwards.
Experiencewith the creation and execution of business development plans for the expansionof business in a defined business area.
Consultingand management experience in a SaaS environment is a plus
Projectmanagement experience. PMP certificationa plus.
