Summary of Responsibilities: This position will report into the Sr. Director, HCP Marketing on the Neurology team and is responsible for assisting with the development and execution of the strategic and tactical plan to support the launch of APL into the Parkinson’s market.
Essential Functions: •Lead the development and execution of APL branded market shaping campaign, lead cross functional and external stakeholders in the development of strategy and tactics
•Assist with finalizing brand identity (naming/logos/colors); sample and trade packaging configurations.
•Assist with brand positioning
•Develop and lead commercial and field advisory boards.
•Manages materials, projects and resources through the internal review committee process (PMRC). Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and vendor partners while leading the review of materials through PMRC.
•Brand Partner to various cross functional teams (Sales Leadership, Sales Training and Operations, Commercial Analytics, Shares Services, Managed Markets, Medical Affairs, and PMRC).
•Responsible for the management of multiple Agency Partners including management of associated budgets, forecast and accruals.
•Business planning support for core reporting processes (quarterly business reviews, mid-term business planning (MTBP), forecasting and commercial planning etc.).
•Manages vendor contract (Purchasing Requisitions, invoices, and approvals) processing.
•Utilizes strong communication skills to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
•Assist with planning, development and execution of professional materials including collaboration with and management of external promotional agency.
•Collaborates with professional agencies on programs, meetings, and materials.
•Brand representative in planning and executing National Sales meeting and Regional (POA) Plan of Action meetings.
•Partners with the field sales force to understand their resource gaps and opportunities through building strong relationships and participating in field rides with both the retail and institutional teams.
•Work with commercial analytics to uncover and interpret market data and customer insights.
•Cultivate and maintain long-standing relationships with national and regional KOLs, speaker bureau faculty and advisors.
•Lead the development of the Commercial strategy around scientific communications and timely execution of the plan.
Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelors
Experience Required: 10+ Years
Knowledge & Skills (General and Technical): •Bachelor’s Degree
•Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent experience preferred)
•Marketing experience in the following therapeutic area highly preferred: Neurology and Parkinson’s disease.
•10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience (2+ years of Neurology/ CNS preferred)
•6+ years of marketing experience (new product launch experience) highly preferred.
•2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
•HCP marketing strategic and tactical experience preferred.
•Understanding of pharmaceutical product planning and execution, including new product launches and life cycle management.
•Ability to interact widely and effectively within the company.
•Ability to lead cross functional teams within the organization.
•Ability to understand, analyze, and drive appropriate market research to inform strategic decision-making.
•Critical thinking to develop solutions to complex problems requiring the use of ingenuity and creativity; to formulate approaches and strategies which may fall outside of traditional norms.
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
•Budget management, P&L experience a plus.
