Oracle Content Strategist, North America Marketing in Marlborough, Massachusetts
Responsible for the overall development of technical and editorial content and message portrayed across Oracle's digital channels in execution of the company's digital strategy
Responsible for the development of digital content on web and technical decisions for assigned programs. Writes summaries, blogs and abstracts of policy materials for social media, email, web and other digital channels. Research and execute best practices for planning, writing, and disseminating digital content; and for engaging audiences online. Create digital content including blogs, galleries, briefs, infographics and articles for Oracle's products and services online and print publication. Posts digital content on web and engage audiences via social media and optimal SEO practice. Take a metrics-driven approach to optimize content strategy. Assist in the identification of the objectives for digital applications and coordinates the development of content to meet defined objectives.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Knowledge of digital design, flow and site organization. May have project lead role. 5 years related experience. Moderate technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed.

This is anexciting opportunity to be part of our North America Marketing team coveringEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) andSupply Chain Management (SCM) Cloud solution areas. As a key member of this team, the ContentStrategist will lead the strategy and execution of content programs acrossinternal and external digital channels. This includes websites, dynamic landing pages, social media platforms,content syndication programs, and nurture programs. This individual will also conceptualize newdigital experiences, formats, and channels through which to tell the Oraclestory. You will be responsible for creating a content strategy foreach piece of content that ladders-up to a broader integrated content strategy.
The ContentStrategist will understand the critical role that content plays within thecompany - and be able to communicate this to stakeholders across the business.He/she will work closely with designers, analytics experts, digital writers andcampaign and product strategists to ensure that projects are executedefficiently and deliver the desired results. The Content Strategist will alsohelp define a global strategy for our corporate website, using content analysisand optimization to balance business goals with user needs.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Devise framework and manage processes for content development, repurposing, management, and amplification for different forms of content while working collaboratively with other marketing functions including demand generation, corporate marketing, product marketing, and public relations.
Be an integral part of team that develops and manages a deep editorial calendar of content for various marketing channels and forms, e.g. blogs, articles, emails, social media, newsletters, itineraries, etc.
Write and edit engaging, high-quality, long and short-form content with the ability to adapt writing style to varying target personas and content formats, e.g. landing pages, emails, ads (display and paid search), web, social media, etc.
Manage external agencies and contractors.
Partner with analytics team to evaluate content and content marketing campaigns to measure performance and determine success.
Stay on top of the latest content marketing best practices and become an internal evangelist.
At least five years in a content managementrole (marketing, editorial, or communications)
Strong writing, copywriting, editing, and communication skills
Proactive, problem-solving skills
Ability to distinguish the good content from the noise
Knowledge of best practices for content audits and editorialcalendars
Basic understanding of content metrics/KPIs
Comfortable leveraging content management systems to build,create, and edit content
Experience working with external agencies to guide contentcreation
