Oxford Immunotec, Inc. Associate Product Manager - Data Services in Marlborough, Massachusetts

This newly created position will execute data services marketing for Oxford Immunotec’s TB & Transplant and Tick-Borne Diseases & Emerging Products franchises. Oxford Immunotec has a large US TB and tick-borne disease diagnostic test database which can be leveraged to provide unique value to customers resulting in accelerated sales cycles and increased customer loyalty.

The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for implementing new methods of leveraging data and data services to support the growth of Oxford Immunotec’s products and improve margins. He/she will create customer-facing data services products and lead initiatives that leverage data to build the Oxford brand with customers, industry associations, and patient advocacy groups.

  • Implement new data “Products”:

  • Develop both data services products and the customer story that clearly demonstrates the value of Oxford Immunotec’s unique data set

  • Conduct research and recommend new and improved data services products

  • Manage commercial IT vendor partnerships, including iPad application developers, software services, etc.

  • Develop new and improve existing customer reports

  • Create new reports based on customer needs

  • Improve existing reports based on customer and sales team feedback

  • Improve product margins by increasing electronic orders

  • Lead cross-functional team to drive increases in electronic orders through both HL7 interfaces and Oxford’s web portal

  • Analyze customers use of current web portal and recommend improvements

  • Execute process improvements for digital marketing

  • Test, analyze and improve inbound lead generation efforts

  • Recommend appropriate systems and tools to improve digital marketing

  • Provide support to field sales

  • Develop effective tools to aid in buying process, including re-selling and up-selling accounts (e.g. cost-models, customer reports, business review data, etc.)

  • Review and analyze data product enhancements that support sales

  • Review and optimize messaging and positioning for data services products

  • Lead product marketing initiatives that drive growth or improve margins

  • Manage project plan

  • Drive cross-functional team activities

  • Follows all company safety policies & other safety precautions within work area

  • Regular attendance and timeliness is essential

  • BS/BA, MBA strongly preferred

  • 3-5 years relevant experience

  • Strong preference for marketing experience with medical device, diagnostics and/or laboratory services

  • Sales or marketing experience with software as a service, data analytics, data driven products a plus

  • Technical and/or clinical expertise in order to understand and effectively communicate the benefits of proprietary technology

  • Strong analytic and data analysis skills, experience with CRM systems such as salesforce.com preferred

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to work independently and on a team

  • Ability to take complex information (e.g. clinical papers, package inserts, etc.) and translate into training material and collateral

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time
