The Associate Director of Commercial Analytics will have primary responsibility for all aspects of personal and non-personal promotion analytics and performance reporting using secondary analysis for assigned customer groups such as marketing and sales, including the interpretation and integration of market research studies and the analysis of syndicated, secondary market data for performance measurement and market understanding purposes. This also includes using rigorous statistical modeling techniques to evaluate various marketing promotions and sales force analytics. This also includes defining, tracking and monitoring of the key performance indicators for various marketing promotional channels including sales force driven metrics to better reach and serve the physicians and patients in need. This also includes responsibility for visualizing and creating comprehensive reporting on brand performance insights across portfolio of products by sourcing, manipulating, analyzing and integrating insights from various cross functional teams. This also includes communication with various internal stakeholders across all levels of management and provide timely, actionable intelligence that influences the strategic business decision making of Sunovion Brand Management and ensure that the evolving external environment is incorporated in strategy development and tactical interventions.

Essential Functions: Have primary responsibility of ROI analytics across portfolio of products.

• Demonstrate full product, customer and performance knowledge and be interactive in tactical and strategic planning sessions. Clearly demonstrate impact/influence on direction of responsible product’s marketing plans and direction.

• Gather business user requirements from various cross functional teams including sales and marketing and define various key performance indicators by collaborating with various cross functional partners and design a reporting platform to integrate various insights from these cross functional teams.

• Communicate the insights to all levels of management.

• Leverage rigorous statistical modeling techniques to evaluate various marketing promotions and sales force analytics.

• Demonstrate Advanced analytical thought process and acumen.

Leverage syndicated, secondary market data for performance measurement and market understanding.

• Build a comprehensive story by integrating insights from various cross functional teams and effectively present and follow-up on the analysis.

Work directly with Sales and Marketing personnel in the development of product strategies and tactics, and will interact with extended brand team and Sr. Management to present analyses recommendations needed to guide high-level decisions. Assure that all relevant information from other functions (e.g. Sales Analytics, Business Intelligence) has been integrated into analyses.

• Work with cross functional teams such as marketing and sales teams including the internal analytical partners on Brand Insights, Promotional Response Analytics, Consumer Analytics, Financial modeling, Resource allocation planning, Long Term Strategic Planning, Brand Launch Analytics, Patient longitudinal data Analytics.

• Work with cross functional partners on targeting, segmentation, sales force alignments and call planning and execution.

Manages Professional Staff: Coordinates and manages daily activities of support or technical staff. Solves problems within own department. Interprets customer needs and assesses requirements.

• Demonstrate full product, customer and performance knowledge and be interactive in tactical and strategic planning sessions. Clearly demonstrate impact/influence on direction of responsible product’s marketing plans and direction.

Work with internal customers to assure that marketing insights are being communicated and used effectively to meet corporate goals.

Share knowledge of methodologies of high quality vendors with other managers in the department.

Improve and update technical competency regularly through outside seminars and through vendor presentations.

• Demonstrate continual staff capability evolution as result of on-the-job or external training initiatives.

Performs all Company business in accordance with all regulations (e.g. EEO, FDA, OSHA, PDMA, EPA, PhRMA, etc.) and Company policies and procedures. When violations are noted/observed they are to be immediately reported to the management.

• Demonstrates high ethical and professional standards with all business contacts in order to main Sunovion’s excellent reputation within the medical and pharmaceutical community.

Minimum Education Requirements: Associates

Experience Required: 5 - 7 Years

Knowledge & Skills (General and Technical): • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience required.

• 5-7 years pharmaceutical marketing and sales analytics experience or related analytical pharmaceutical experience (e.g. Marketing Research, forecasting, etc.).

• Demonstrated expertise in prescription commercial data processes and reporting analytics.

• Demonstrated ability and expertise in manipulating, analyzing complex data using Excel/Access etc and visualizing data via standard tools/charting methods. SAS/R/Tableau knowledge a plus.

• Demonstrated interpersonal, managerial and leadership abilities.

• Demonstrated strong process planning and organizational skills.

• Demonstrated excellent analytical skills.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively with all levels of the organization (verbal, written and presentation skills).
