Director, Product Management – Keurig’s Connected Brewer Platform (IoT)

We are seeking a Director of Product Management to join the Appliance Product Management team. This role will report to the Vice President of Innovation and Appliance Product Management and will lead a product team, driving overall execution of Keurig’s Connected brewer program including developing Keurig’s data and personalized marketing business.

Keurig Connect™ is an Innovation program focusing on developing the future of connectivity for Keurig brewers. The Director Product Management will be the business owner of Keurig Connect, driving improvements on our current connected panel and prepping the way for future connected products.

What you will do:

  • Lead a cross-functional agile team as business process owner to maintain and improve the current Keurig Connect product, including the consumer experiences, the data quality, and the data and marketing benefits to consumers

  • Support and drive connected capabilities in future Keurig brewers

  • Be accountable for overall performance of the product, including P&L responsibilities on the data and marketing product

  • Manage communications around program development with senior leadership (including Appliance GM, and Product Council)

  • Participate in key sales and marketing presentations with customer and analysts

  • Leverage analysis of sales information, projections, and other meaningful data and understand and lead forecasts on market evolution and company products

  • Provide short-term and long-term strategic direction

  • Have a strong leadership understanding of the product’s impact to the strategic relationships of the company

  • Develop product requirements and creative briefs to drive product development activities

  • Manage continuous improvement of product line to meet emerging consumer needs and optimize business performance

  • Track projects against set objectives, analyze and evaluate success of the projects, and pursue path to optimization

  • Mentor and guide the weekly activities of the more junior members or the team

What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering and/or related field required; MBA preferred

  • 15 years of total professional experience, > 5 years in a similar role preferred

  • Product Development and management experience, ideally on data products

  • Comfort managing a P&L with supervision

  • Familiarity with agile teams

  • Creative mindset and passion for product marketing and consumer packaged goods

  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor

  • Success with partnering with consumer insights on consumer research including learning plan development

  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with all levels of the organization and externally with partners

  • Extraordinary organizational skills and attention to detail; able to shift priorities quickly and remain calm and focused under pressure; able to manage multiple projects/requests and meet deadlines

  • Skills to take data from raw numbers to analysis to insights

  • Good judgment; understand when to involve others in the decision-making process.

  • Ability to work well independently and with a team

  • Experience with product management, new product development, software experience development, and product line management

  • Demonstrated success introducing products to consumer/commercial market

  • Ability to interface with technical resources in developing and designing brewing systems, IT teams in developing software experiences, and Sales teams on go-to-market activities

  • Ability to manage highly complex projects with strong attention to detail

  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office; comfort with the Web and social sites

  • Ability to follow KGM policies and procedures as well as our operating principles

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong sense of urgency

  • Up to 25% Travel
