Support communications leadership on external and internal communications for Current Powered by GE. This role reports to the Chief Communications Officer.
In addition you will :
Support and execute internal communications initiatives --building communications plans and writing / developing content
Partner with the internal communications leader on the employee engagement and culture strategy
Support and execute external communications initiatives to enhance brand and reputation, including media research, monitoring, pitching and crafting social media strategies
Support event operations and communications for shows, speaking engagements and other external events
Managing communications tools, vendors, and operational processes to enable efficiency and productivity Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited University or College
3 years of experience in Communications Desired Characteristics:
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
