Eastern Bank Digital Banking Product Manager in Lynn, Massachusetts

The Digital Banking Product Manager will serve as the head of Online/Mobile product and is responsible for product strategy, planning, development and implementation of new products and product enhancements for online and mobile banking as well as of other digital platforms. This includes managing new offerings and enhancements throughout the product lifecycle; collaborating with business lines and other Technology teams in defining the product vision, gathering and prioritizing requirements, developing roadmaps and working closely with technology partners, and key business stakeholders to deliver and maintain profitable solutions that meet the needs of our clients. It also includes supporting Business Lines and Marketing in promoting the products and ensuring revenue, business value, and client loyalty goals are met. This position requires a high level of strategic thinking, but also requires the ability to shift into the details in order to make informed decisions when required.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating withbusiness lines and Technology teams, develop best-in-class, digitalbanking products that promote and create customer loyalty through highlyinnovative design and feature sets; primary responsibility is shipping newproducts and features for online and mobile banking channels and digitalorigination systems

  • Understand customerneeds in digital channels

  • Define productroadmap strategy, incorporating market direction and customer preference

  • Work with a crossfunctional team to drive the implementation of new products, features,and designs

  • Define productdirection, prioritize and manage features that will deliver best-in-classexperiences for Eastern Bank consumers

  • Work with the Design/ User Experience team to translate requirements into concepts andelegant user experience design

  • Monitor and trackproduct usage and performance

  • Develop closed loopanalytics system to gather customer feedback in order to shape and buildfuture products

  • Track product andfeature use and work with product team to analyze and understandimplications for product enhancement.

  • Leads and develops digital product managementteam and brings them together to deliver and maintain superior user testeddigital experiences

  • Support the creation of othercritical digital platforms by working with technology and business partners,architects and other groups to identify technical and functional needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10 years of experiencein the technology, banking or product fields. Minimum of 5 years of productdevelopment, management or product design experience in the digital world

  • Proven ability tobuild, motivate and manage teams

  • Proven experiencedelivering large scale, complex web applications

  • Demonstrableexpertise in extracting insights from qualitative & quantitativeresearch

  • Familiarity with htmland web technologies, in a banking context is a strong plus

  • Extensive knowledge andexperience with creating and managing business requirements and userstories for software platforms

  • Possess quantitative andanalytical skills to demonstrate benefit realization of project andmarketing initiatives for (product)

  • Expertise in understanding andanalyzing consumer market research results, such as segmentation analysisand drivers of satisfaction related to the online and mobile financialexperience

Educationand Experience (Indicate the minimum formal education and experience the job requires. Note: The majority of jobs do not require a college degree as a minimum requirement.)

  • Bachelor's degree ormilitary experience or equivalent combination of training and experience

  • Startup experience and/or largecompany digital product experience

  • Experience in a productgroup focusing on web and mobile applications.
