Deign products that meet the category and overall brand creative direction. Design innovative performance products by balancing functionality, aesthetics and engineering. Work within a category on color/material/trend and make sure they align with overall brand creative direction.


In this role, the designer 2 will carry a large, moderately complex project workload. Actively participate in creative vision during off sites and other design events. Under minimal supervision, exhibits solid design skills with ability to meet key project deadlines. This person will work on multiple projects across several seasons. Assist others in projects to ensure that category is delivering against deadlines. This person will have international development experience. There will be travel with senior level designers. Work independently within Triad team and has a strong understanding of the product creation process and timelines. This person will have a strong understanding of shoe construction, process and costing as well as able to prioritize workload and deliver projects on time.


  • 4 years minimum with responsibility in footwear design with a general understanding of footwear, design, construction, materials, sourcing and commercialization.

  • Minimum 4 years of industrial design experience with innovation focus

  • BA or Master’s degree in Industrial Design and/or Fashion design or related area. Innovation, Engineering degree is a plus

  • Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketchbook Pro, Rhino/3D a plus

  • 2D-3D Drawing by hand or computer, ability to visualize
