Dell EMC is looking for a high-energy, passionate and driven product marketing professional to join the company’s Consulting Services Marketing organization as an industry marketing manager.

Dell EMC Consulting delivers strategic guidance and expert integration of Dell EMC products and solutions to help customers rapidly transform their business and achieve optimal business outcomes. Our capabilities help customers digitally transform their IT model and workforce through cloud, big data analytics, IoT and modern IT infrastructure technologies.

This position reporting to the Senior Director of Consulting Services Marketing will have marketing responsibility for several key verticals and industries across the Dell EMC Consulting portfolio, including but not limited to Telco/ Service Provider, Healthcare, Financial Services, Federal, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing.

Candidates should have a proven track record of success in highly competitive information technology and global business markets, with experience in story-telling, message creation and content development that can generate awareness and buzz in the marketplace, and ensure a variety of sales resources have the knowledge and tools required to convert leads into opportunities and closed business. Strong industry knowledge in at least one vertical market with a desire for continuous learning is required.


  • Understand Dell EMC’s focus industries, consulting capabilities and go-to-market strategy and develop target personas to identify and align customer and sales collateral in support of industry targeted sales campaigns

  • Craft industry-focused consulting services messaging, customer presentations, sales training and playbooks, web content, collateral for events and other field, partner or customer-facing assets

  • Develop industry marketing plans in collaboration with consulting sales and the Consulting Services Marketing team

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in Consulting Services Marketing, Portfolio and Delivery, Sales Enablement, and Service Partners to ensure that messaging and collateral is aligned to consulting capabilities and industry personas

  • Work cross-functionally with industry and alliance team, other Dell EMC business unit marketing, and field marketing to incorporate consulting messaging into relevant events, content and campaigns

  • Conduct market research to define market opportunity and target customer segments and provide expert guidance and input to consulting product marketing and portfolio

  • Position requires ability to interface with all levels of organization including the executive management team as well as external customers, press and industry analysts


  • Excellent understanding of one or more industry verticals in relation to the IT industry and experience developing vertical marketing and sales enablement messaging and content

  • Strong message creation and content development skills, including ability to craft compelling customer-facing presentations

  • Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills

  • Highly motivated self-starter able to work independently and who will help to define the go-to-market and marketing strategy for industry focused consulting sales

  • Proficient in a wide range of traditional and next-gen communication media, from PowerPoint presentations to video, digital and social media

  • Ability to influence others to achieve results

  • Bachelor’s or masters degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience
