Advisor, Online/Social Media Marketing – Hopkinton, MA

Dell’s Social Business team is looking for a social media strategist to support our growing efforts on social. The social media strategist will work closely with key internal clients, including certified social account managers, Brand and Creative, product launches and events, to deliver a world-class social experience.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive social media strategy for industry events, product launches and marketing campaigns, rooted in data and actionable for teams to execute.

  • Analyze the usage and performance of Dell social accounts in order to identify successful trends or to highlight accounts in need of improvement.

  • Partner with Brand and Creative on social brand guidelines to enable social account managers with assets such as social backgrounds and imagery.

  • Provide regular updates to internal clients reporting on performance and identifying opportunities.

  • Stay on top of industry trends, best practices and emerging capabilities in an effort to strengthen Dell’s approach and further drive innovation.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a diverse and global environment.

  • Provide a balance of analytical and creative thinking.

  • Proficiency with social media tools such as Sprinklr, for publishing, listening and overall measurement.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and visual.

  • Ability to deliver high-quality in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong grasp of how brands leverage social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Preferences

  • Preferred experience managing internal or external clients for a brand or agency.

  • Ability to build digital measurement reports using tools such as Sprinklr, Jive, Google Analytics and Omniture.

  • Past experience managing social media accounts for a brand or agency.

  • Develop visual assets through Photoshop or PowerPoint.
