Job Family Summary:

Responsible for industry marketing activities designed to increase awareness and expand market share. Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and objectives. Evaluates and adjusts industry marketing strategies to respond to changing and/or competitive markets. Develops integrated awareness and demand generation campaign, which convey the customer value proposition in close coordination with sales, product partners, and third party vendors.

Principal Accountabilities:

Develops marketing and communications plans and activities for specific industry / vertical market segment(s) (ie. video surveillance market).

Coordinates with Industry GM and industry subject-matter experts (SMEs) to conduct market research, monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs.

Supports launch of industry solutions and provides sustaining efforts to create awareness and demand for industry solutions via internal sales tools and external web presence

Strategic Focus; Strong ability to influence others and manage complex ecosystem of stakeholders across the organization

Deep understanding of the competition; Product level market and technical expertise; Proficient in technical writing skills

Understanding of products and their value added to the customer

Advanced ability to influence others to achieve results; Advanced ability to work effectively with senior management

Develops content for internal and external audiences, conveying industry value propositions, including customer presentations and sales training materials

Works with Industry General Manager and associated sales team(s) to capture and convey customer value proposition (ie. industry solution appropriate for customers in a specific vertical)

Coordinates with Industry GM to launch industry campaigns and help ensure sales force readiness

Provides input into marketing mix planning and contributes content to sales enablement materials (such as industry playbooks)

Principal Responsibilities:

Leads creation of integrated industry marketing materials and executes industry-specific awareness and demand generation campaigns for new customer acquisition or to increase customer SOW

Creates marketing materials to take industry message into the market (global and regional)

Responsible for developing industry marketing plan aligned to (sales/industry) business plan

Contributes to industry market-analysis effort (competitive analysis, market analysis) taking direction from industry GM and coordinating with competitive, AR and PR teams

Position requires ability to interface with all levels of organization including the extended industry sales team as well as customers, trade associations, press and industry analysts
