Dell Dell EMC Account Exec, Direct Sales in Hopkinton, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Works closely with a specific named account base and prospects for more to establish relationships and develop robust business plans that drive new business and accelerate the overall Dell EMC revenue stream. Create programs that enhance the customer's commitment to Dell EMC, drive additional competency within the Dell EMC product/solution portfolio and drive sufficient pipeline development to sustain the required revenue growth consistent with the overall targets of the region, theatre and the corporation. Revenue opportunities are identified and realized through research, collaboration, influence, relationship/account management and direct sales with commercial business. Executes developed business plans and programs and represents Dell EMC in all activities associated with assigned commercial account(s). Observes and educates account stakeholders about Dell EMC’s programs, products and solutions that can benefit customer's needs. Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's entire product line; may have more in-depth knowledge on a subset of products or services suited to target customer based on size. Understands all aspects of direct business. Educates customer community on programs and executes accordingly, and influences the adoption of Dell EMC solutions.

Generally responsible for developing, managing and growing commercial accounts. Develops and implements strategies for targeted accounts. Maintains a network among field sales and pre-sales partners, as well as colleagues and customers to share information and build prospects. Anticipates the customer's needs & formulates effective solutions. Manages basic negotiations. May work with some supervision. In-depth knowledge of industry and multiple areas of direct sales. In-depth knowledge of Dell EMC products/solutions and may have specialized training within a product line.
