Dell EMC Product Marketing Manager – Midrange Storage Solutions - Infrastructure Solutions Group
ISG’s family of midrange storage solutions are a critical component of Dell EMC’s primary storage portfolio. The Unity and SC Series all-flash and hybrid storage family are optimized for simplicity, flexibility, and economics enabling small to medium sized enterprises to take advantage of industry leading investments in technologies that help customers realize increased business performance, operational efficiency, and affordability across the lifecycle of their storage infrastructure.
As a key member of the Midrange Product Marketing team, you will be a responsible for driving go-to-marketing strategies and the development of collateral, sales tools, channel solutions, and training that helps Dell EMC sales and channel partners grow revenue and win market share.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of IT management, storage hardware and software infrastructure, and channel partner structure, solution, and enablement practices. They will also possess the ability to translate that knowledge into compelling and easy to consume messaging for Dell EMC sales and channel partners.
Develop compelling messaging, positioning, web content and collateral, sales tools, customer and channel facing presentations
Manage and actively participate in launch processes and develop core content such as announcement articles, FAQs, and messaging documents with a keen focus on channel awareness
Be the Subject Matter expert and trusted advisor for the sales, channel, and marketing teams and deliver training/presentations to customers, internal teams, channel sales and partners globally
Evangelize Midrange Storage solutions through marketing engines like blogs, social media, user communities, events (customer and channel), and user groups
Work closely with Dell EMC sales, channels sales, and systems engineers to develop value based messaging an positioning and messaging
Support product and solutions launches and work with the cross functional team to ensure sales and marketing tools are meeting launch goals
Ensure consistent planning and enablement of strategic partners in support of strategic GTM initiatives.
Passionate about primary storage infrastructure initiatives
In depth understanding of midrange storage and IT management solutions
Ability to simplify and articulate key product messages, features and benefits in a manner that highlights clear business value
Fundamental understanding of Dell EMC midrange storage products and technologies
Awareness and understanding of marketing communications and social media engines and their capabilities
Detailed oriented and execution focused; strong ability to lead v-teams and influence others
Ability to navigate matrix organization effectively and work across multiple organizations and functions
Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including external channel partners
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations
Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
Technical or marketing background with enterprise storage and IT management technologies preferred
5-10 years of experience in a primary storage Product Marketing and/or Product Management roles
Execution mindset with strong project management and influence skills
