*Position Summary

This Marketing Project Manager position will oversee key marketing vehicles including catalogs, assume responsibility for tracking flyer performance and making optimization recommendations (direct mail and digital flyers), and implementing processes and tools that help drive effectiveness and efficiency within the Marketing team. The Marketing Operations Project Manager will lead the monetization initiative for box inserts via Staples fulfillment centers, work cross-functionally to ensure proper set-up of marketing materials, manage inventory tracking and distribution via Fulfillment Centers, and assist in annual budget allocation planning

Primary Responsibilities * Manage relationships between merchandising, agency partners, marketing data & insights, and marketing partners to facilitate development and execution of all SBA catalogs * Oversee catalog and flyer (DM and digital) budgets to ensure SBA has optimized dollars against each channel, and is effectively driving sales and profitability * Understand customer lifecycle marketing approach and formulate catalog and flyer recommendations accordingly * Identify testing opportunities within each channel based on insights and campaign goals * Establish efficient processes for catalogs that this position or another team executing can follow * Stay up-to-date of best practices in the B2B catalogs and direct mail & digital flyers * Make optimization recommendations that impact go-forward strategies for each channel, and – in partnership with other marketing vehicle owners – optimize planning processes to ensure campaign alignment * Identify monetization opportunities for box inserts, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to execute * Build relationships with cross-functional teams throughout the organization to find new and innovative ways to expand operational support * Initiate and drive internal production of all catalogs, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to plan and execute * Develop strategic marketing briefs for catalog covers and institutional pages, coordinate marketing ads, identify and recommend vehicle distribution plans * Oversee operational processes including auto distribution, customer enrollment, sku set up, and inventory management * Own and maintain relevant campaign and vehicle request forms * Offer strategic guidance and customer-centric insights in weekly email creative review meetings * Partner with marketing analytics team to understand effectiveness of catalogs, box inserts and flyers (direct mail and digital) and make optimization recommendations that impact go-forward strategies * Assist in planning budget allocation for SBA marketing department based on vehicle effectiveness and considering fixed costs, and partnering with Marketing Coordinator to report on budget status each period to key stakeholders * Interpret catalog and flyer (DM and Digital) metrics and deliver insights to marketing partners and stakeholders on a regular basis

Basic * Bachelor degree required * 4 to 6 years marketing experience preferred Preferred * Background in catalog and marketing operations preferred * Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management, and ability to work confidently across various functional groups within a complex matrixed organization * Demonstrated strategic thinking and creative problem-solving * Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills * Experience evaluating and improving processes * Functional knowledge of applicable computer systems including SKU Central, AS400 – Sunbeam and Sunrise
