Bose Internal Communications Manager in Framingham, Massachusetts

Job Description

Our global internal communications function is looking for an experienced business communicator and project manager to work with leaders to communicate complex business subjects such as global business services and finance information. Working closely with executives, HR business partners, project teams, and Internal Communications you will be focused on both strategic plan development and tactical program execution to inform, connect and engage employees across the company.

Supporting objectives:

Advising : Apply your experience, knowledge of best practices, analysis and influence skills to advise on change management and business communications challenges.

  • Partner with key stakeholders across the company to develop integrated communications plans, then execute and evaluate effectiveness.

  • Provide the methods and guidance for leaders to make informed decisions about how to communicate a shared vision of the future and facilitate the adoption of new processes and business changes.

  • Take the initiative to provide your professional perspective to influence others.

  • Develops, tracks and maintains detailed communication project plans and timelines to ensure successful delivery of communication campaigns.

  • Draft key messaging, FAQs, and other supporting materials. Establish approval process with stakeholders to ensure accurate, targeted messaging aligned across the entire business.

  • Drive measurement activities focused on understanding employee sentiment across the business. Manage survey design, communication and translation processes, information analysis and follow-on activities.

  • Track, monitor and evaluate communications activities and accomplishments to provide feedback and recommendations to leadership.

Relationship building and management: Establish yourself as a key communications resource within the company and a sought-out partner for collaboration.

  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships inside internal communications and across the company. Work effectively with employees at all levels and in different cultures.

  • Partner with internal communications, public relations and other teams as needed to align messages, tools and planning.

  • Build organizational awareness: learn the business, history, culture, and key players. Creative and technical skills: Develop innovative and effective approaches to solving problems.

  • Analyze and clearly present complex information demonstrating critical thinking ability.

  • Write communications plans and key message platforms aligned with corporate messages.

  • Use your knowledge of and experience with digital, social media and multi-media presentation tools to recommend best practices for delivering informati on and creating conversation.   Candidates considered for this position will have:

  • At least 8-10 years hands-on experience with proven track record developing and executing creative communications strategies and plans for a large diverse organization

  • Demonstrated proficiency in communications planning and implementation including copy development, video, social media, microsites, high-impact emails, print collateral, face-to-face and virtual meetings, and mobile technology

  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

  • Highly polished writing skills, strong presentation and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with, and knowledge of, change management principles, methodologies and tools and the ability to translate theory into practice

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, interact and work effectively at all levels of a rapidly changing organization

  • Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines, translate complex ideas and move with agility to create clear easy to understand communications for a range of audiences

  • Able to influence “up and down” to achieve project objectives (i.e. soliciting and reconciling feedback from multiple sources)

  • Project management experience – organize multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft office programs with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint

  • B.S. required; advanced degree and/or accreditation desired but not necessary
