As our new /Customer Reference Manager,/ you will drive the planning, execution, and tracking of customer reference programs which reflect the company's brand strategies. You will serve as a communication bridge between product marketing and sales. You will have hands-on project or team leadership of Field Marketing Program teams. You will be located in one of the following offices: Santa Clara, CA; Framingham, MA: New York, NY

/ Responsibilities/

  • Fosters and promotes mutually beneficial customer relationships

  • Creates digital assets with and for strategic customers

  • Develops strategies for integrated customer reference engagement plans with field marketing that showcase customer success via a variety of marketing deliverables including digital assets, peer to peer networking, event speaking, 1:many reference calls

  • Creates and maintains in-depth customer profiles and contacts in the database

  • Interfaces with sales to analyze their strategy and advise them on how/when to use references

  • Increases program adoption and visibility

  • Communicates monthly/quarterly reporting to stakeholders in sales and marketing

  • Fulfills marketing reference requests, including but not limited to:

o References for: Executive Briefings, Analyst Reviews, Product Launches, Earnings, Ad Campaigns

/ Preferred Education:/

Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Marketing or a business discipline. MBA or global equivalent preferred.

/ Work Experience:/

Typically 7 or more years of technology marketing or sales experience.

/ Skills & Competencies:/

Collaborative, agile, customer-centric, results-oriented, creative, organizational skills, quality focus, self-motivated, program management, excellent written & verbal communication skills, excellent relationship-building/networking skills. Good understanding of sales cycle and the relevance of customer references as part of that cycle. Good understanding of the power of the customer message and digital content marketing.
