The Communications Manager supports execution of the strategic positioning of our people agenda, leveraging a variety of communications modes and methods to inform, motivate and engage colleagues. Utilize your communication skills assisting the head of Executive Communications, strategizing and executing employee communications for a wide variety of audiences in support of Human Resources, and the office of the Chief Executive.

Key responsibilities:

•Executive Communications - Develop and manage communication plans that are aligned with the company’s overarching communications strategy. Provide business-level communications support in the form of communication strategies and tactical plans, written pieces, speeches, presentations, videos and key stakeholder meetings with internal and external audiences. Measure impact across all channels and focus on continuous improvement.

•Internal Communications - Ensure successful development and delivery of a variety of high-profile business communication programs and initiatives across the company, including select internal communications; messaging for executive leadership group meetings; and providing issues management-related communications support.

•Project Management – Ability to manage communications deliverables flawlessly across a number of businesses, programs and internal partners

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

•8+ years – Corporate, Internal and Executive Communications experience

•Exceptional verbal and written communications skills

•Ability to think strategically while leading execution

•Presentation skills delivered through a variety of media; talking points, presentations, written scripts, audio and video

•Desire to thrive in fast-paced, challenging environment with tight deadlines

•Teamwork minded, strong organizations skills

•Adept at communicating to varying levels of audiences

•Expertise in PowerPoint MS word, excel and SharePoint

Preferred Experience:

•Financial Services experience

•Degree in Communication or related field

•Flexibility to travel within Citizens’ footprint

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 8:00-5:00

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
