Citizens Bank Director of Retail Distribution Planning in Dedham, Massachusetts
Citizens Bank is seeking talented candidates to lead our Retail Distribution Planning, supporting Citizens Retail Bank Distribution, Traditional and In-Store Branch Innovations, and ATM distribution teams.
In close partnership with functional support teams and front line businesses, Retail Distribution Planning Strategywill lead the critical thinking and strategy delivery for both the current and future state of the Citizens retail distribution network. This position will determine the configurationscategorization of our markets for growth opportunity and the most advantageous deployment of new branch designs and innovative ATMs. In addition, this role will drive the strategic thinking for how we evolve branch formats into the technologically driven future of banking, the intent in the portfolio of branch formats, how we interact with customers, and what our staffing support models should evolve to. This position will also develop, propose and present drive the business cases necessary to secure funding for the current and future changes to the retail network.
The Manager will report to the Head of Retail Network Transformation Distribution Planning & Development and and will manage project teams in solving complex problems and implementation issues critical to the company. This role will manage a small team of direct reports.

Proven success in prior leadership roles in high performing for profit organizations - Retail banking, or consulting g preferred
Experience with a high profile management consulting firm and/or a strategic consulting role within financial services
High level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
Strong end-to-end generalist problem solving skills (e.g., defining and deconstructing problems, structuring quantitative and qualitative analyses, identifying implications)
Holistic analysis of operational and financial data to make a recommendation
Very strong technical capabilities and knowledge
Preparing and delivering concise communication materials for senior management
Strong interpersonal, collaboration and leadership skills - an ability to lead and influence colleagues at various levels and achieve goals without a direct management mandate.

Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm; Monday - Friday
