Dynamic, results-driven leader needed to play a critical thought leadership role in accelerating digital competencies within Citizens bank. This leader will develop and execute Citizen Bank’s digital banking strategy and be responsible for deploying superior digital experiences within and across the online and mobile banking platforms. The Head of Digital Banking will bring actionable insights to inform the digital strategy and identify new digital product/service opportunities. This leader will oversee the team responsible from driving self-service digital activities and transaction migration.

Candidate Profile:

The Head of Digital Banking will be a visionary, strategic & operational leader with deep expertise in digital and a reputation for leading a successful digital strategy/transformation for a client/customer-centric, innovation focused organization with best-in-class digital capabilities. The competencies gained from industries where digital/technology has reshaped distribution and customer experience, are highly sought after; financial services experience is an asset but is not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Defines the digital banking strategy for the business and refines the annual roadmap

  • In depth knowledge of end to end digital management practices including an excellent understanding of all digital channels and a proven track record in the ability to use these to maximum effectiveness

  • Extensive digital experience ideally in a regulated environment

  • Responsible for design and implementation of the digital transformation program

  • Develops and implements a consistent user experience across all CFG online and mobile properties

  • Builds highly effective, highly motivated team of colleagues and partners

  • Manages the development of annual budgets and forecasts

  • Tireless watchdog for industry trends and changes in customer preferences

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree required; BA in Marketing, Finance or eCommerce preferred

  • Experience: 10+ years of Marketing, Strategy and/or Digital Experience with at least 8 years in senior management

Technical Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Above-average web knowledge/skills

  • Experience with digital marketing tactics and tools

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
