Job Summary:

The Strategic Account Manager will be charged with advancing ZOLL’s Strategic positioning with Key Accounts, strategically important geographies, strategically important competitive accounts, and large account opportunities. The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible to advance ZOLL’s position in these geographies and accounts. This individual will report directly to the Senior Director – Strategic Accounts, U.S. Hospital Sales.

Essential Functions:

  • Penetrate the top layers of the larger, complex accounts in an effort to gain support from the top down

  • Penetrate accounts, markets, competitive accounts and geographies and turn key decision makers towards ZOLL

  • Create the opportunity for cross over selling across market segments (Hospital / TMS / Life Vest and EMS / ZDS), to create incremental revenue and to strategically advance ZOLL’s position in the market

  • Work as a team with the Sales Representatives and Regional Managers

  • Sell ZOLL’s solutions in the Executive Offices of a Healthcare Organization, as well as clinicians, code committees and others though out the healthcare system

  • Finding and closing significant business opportunities, which should have strategic impact on ZOLL

Required Skills

  • Must have at least 10 years of successful selling experience into the US healthcare markets

  • Extensive capital medical equipment experience preferable

  • Demonstrated success selling systems, concepts and solutions at the administrative levels of a healthcare organization

  • Advanced computer skills

  • Organization and Time Management skills

  • Strong communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS)

Travel Requirement:

  • Up to 80% annually
