Job Summary:

Plans, directs and manages the strategic and downstream marketing activities, for the Ventilation business in their region (e.g. North America, or International). Is closely aligned with their sales counterpart and will drive the downstream marketing initiatives to support that sales effort.

Essential Functions:

  • Establish and execute downstream marketing strategy for transport ventilator business

  • Provides sales support by answering questions and/or resolving account manager and customer questions

  • Serves as product, market, and clinical subject matter expert as it relates to the Transport Ventilation business and its competitors

  • Provides leadership and strategic direction in market segment development to include go to market strategy, value proposition, pricing guidelines, sales promotion, and distribution

  • Collects, analyzes and maintains competitive information including product literature and pricing and communicates information as appropriate within the organization

  • Provide sales force with competitive and technical data on a timely basis

  • Participate in customer visits and sales training as resident product, market, and clinical expert

  • Establish relationships with key industry leaders

  • Prudent management of budgeted expenses

  • Develop key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations and institutions

Required Experience

  • 5 – 7 years of medical device marketing, ideally in the emergency medicine/critical care space

  • Prior experience in the ventilation/respiratory therapy space strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills including strong presentation skills

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, negotiation and project management skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and handle multiple tasks and projects

  • Strong command of the English language

  • Strong results orientation

Travel Requirement:

  • Up to 60% annually

  • Some international travel required

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with preference for business with an emphasis in marketing or related discipline
