Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated BIM Revit Specialist III Engineer for employment in the Chelmsford, MA office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the design and construction of a variety of new and renovations to existing municipal, commercial, industrial, institutional and governmental facilities

  • Provide training and technical support on Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects using Autodesk REVIT

  • Support multidiscipline project teams including Mechanical, Electrical, Piping/Plumbing (MEP) professionals, as well as, Architects, Structural professionals and designers with the implementation of BIM solutions

  • Create initial REVIT project setup with workflow documents

  • Support the development of the REVIT model for each project

  • Work as part of a BIM/CAD support team to achieve consistent results

  • Oversee daily model management, administration and maintenance

  • Provide REVIT MEP, Architecture and Structural support

  • Help to develop BIM Content: Families such as parametric, formula nested and type catalogs

  • Work with vendors on content download and update to Company Standards

  • Support linked views and others in multiple models situation

  • Integrate REVIT products with other applications (Autodesk, Construction, Cost Estimation)

  • Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and schedules

  • Mentor less experienced staff

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 4+ years of REVIT experience

  • Ability to work with a diverse team

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Detail-oriented and technical, yet experienced enough to see the big picture

  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and deadlines

  • Ability to apply passion and enthusiasm for design in a collaborative and progressive team-oriented work environment

  • Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion

  • Experienced, self-directed professional

  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter with solid writing and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work

  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

  • Ability to meet quality, schedule and budget expectations

  • REVIT MEP

  • REVIT Architecture

  • REVIT Structure

  • AutoCAD 3D

  • AutoCAD Architecture

  • Navisworks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Water/Wastewater Industry
