The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Support the Architectural Dept. with the layout and design of a variety of new and renovations to existing municipal, commercial, industrial, institutional and governmental facilities
Develop architectural plans, elevations, section and details, as needed
Coordinate with the project architects and other in-house engineering disciplines as needed
Assist in the development and maintenance of standard details
Stay current with new software developments (i.e., BIM, Revit, etc.)
Other assignments that may require the application of standard architectural design techniques, criteria and procedures
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience as an Architect or Architectural Designer
Excellent AutoCAD Architecture and Autodesk Revit skills
Experience with Adobe Photoshop
Ability to work with a diverse team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and technical, yet experienced enough to see the big picture
Experienced, self-directed professional
Must be a highly motivated self-starter with solid writing and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Ability to meet quality, schedule and budget expectations
Ability to multi-task and be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and deadlines
Ability to apply passion and enthusiasm for design in a collaborative and progressive team-oriented work environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Master's degree in Architecture
Experience in the Water/Wastewater Industry
Ability to become a licensed architect in the future
