The Team Lead, Media, is responsible for communicating essential messages on Shell Tech Works (STW) programs as well as STW’s unique value propositions, culture, ways of working, needs, and capabilities to stakeholders and Shell counterparts through creating effective and integrated media and presentation materials.
Create pervasive and effective media materials to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences in support of programs
Lead development and facilitate integration of new and cutting-edge visual technologies such as virtual and augmented reality in value driven ways to Shell's businesses
Support STW's technical, programmatic, and business development teams to develop media (photo/video, animations, illustrations, slides, documentation, etc.) explaining complex technical topics, concepts of operations, and value propositions in an easily understood manner.
In cooperation with Shell CX and line management, communicate STW’s unique culture, ways of working, needs, and capabilities to Shell counterparts.
Provide media services directly to Shell stakeholders as requested to support demonstration of rapid prototyping and development capabilities
Document and record all significant organizational and programmatic activities and events, including program milestones, deployments, etc.
Document Shell operations for analysis by STW staff.
Create and manage internal displays and artwork in STW's offices.
Manage the media team to successfully execute the Media Department's mission.
Bachelor's degree in media, fine arts, communications, or related field
Minimum of Ten (10+) years of relevant experience communicating technical topics to diverse audiences
Ability and drive to deliver on time, while working in a semi-autonomous environment
Ability to create and communicate an accurate schedule and budget
Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
Willingness to deploy to the field for up to two weeks at a time
Willingness to learn to work with the tools and solutions selected by the team
Ability to work effectively and build relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
