Oracle Senior Field Marketing Manager - Enterprise and Key Account Marketing, N.A. Marketing in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Plans, executes, and measures demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline and revenue for Field Sales organization.

Meets with Sales leaders to create strategic marketing plan in Sales support of pipeline and revenue objectives. Participant in regular pipeline and forecast review meetings. Develops and implements tactical marketing programs in conjunction with Sales, Channels, Product Marketing, Product Management, Oracle Direct (Telesales), and external influencers such as user groups and industry trade associations. Provides onsite execution support for marketing programs. Tracks lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner. Creates and manages program budget, measures ROI through metrics analysis and reporting. Acts as a virtual team liaison for corporate business initiatives, programs and launches. Communicates program status, action items, and deliverables across Field Marketing team and Sales.

Proven track record executing multi-faceted event programs. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to provide consultative input to senior Sales leaders. Basic understanding of business management and operations, including finance/revenue/pipeline principles. Able to engage customers in dialogue about their business needs and IT solutions. Excellent written and verbal skills, and ability to work on far-flung virtual teams. Moderate technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed. Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes from event design to execution to lead flow.

Thisis anexciting opportunity to be part of our growing North America Marketing team.TheSenior Field Marketing Managerwillstrategizeand execute key marketing activities, from planning and budgeting toimplementation and reporting. This includes, but is not limited to: Account Specific onsite customer events, IndustrySpecific Roundtables, account based and industry specific webcasts - thatgenerate leads for the North America Enterprise sales teams. Primary focus on Oracle Cloud Platformproducts and solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the development of anoverall strategic marketing plan for the Sales region and executing on anAccount Based lead generation plan.

  • Creating/managing Account Based and/orindustry specific marketing programs, primarily in-person events, webcasts andemail campaigns

  • Conducting metric and ROI analyses onprogram effectiveness; measuring the business impact of events in terms ofrevenue and attendance through analysis of sales and marketing reports andpresenting results to Marketing and Sales management.

  • Preparing and providing communicationsto ensure that the regional sales team is aware of planned activities andunderstands how to leverage them

  • Collaborateacross business units (Product Marketing, Product Development, Go to Market,etc.), as well as with content marketing and campaign strategists, to alignaround messaging,eventformat, and goals

  • Workingwith 3rd-party channels, including online social communities, salespartners, etc., to serve as a delivery interface for program initiatives;incorporating the use of these groups into the strategic marketing plan.

  • Coordinatewith program managers on pre -event promotions, on-site branding, and outsidevendors

  • Leadpost-event communications with sales and digital teams to ensure proper andconsistent lead flow

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10 years in a strategic field marketing role, preferably within thetechnology sector

  • Knowledge of the Financial Services andTelecommunications industry a plus

  • Strong understanding of communications strategy,marketing and branding principles

  • Proactive, problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Strong collaborative and relationship-buildingskills

  • Ability to stay ahead of trends and best practices for eventplanning and promotions

  • Good understanding of lead generation and flow within a B2Borganization

  • Expertise in managing projects across various,regionally distributed teams

  • Experience working across departments, with leadership, and withexternal agencies to guide event strategy
