Senior Director HCP Marketing

Reports to the Brand Lead DUPIXENT Dermatology. The head of HCP Marketing is responsible for the development of integrated marketing and educational strategies, as well as supporting tactics to support best-in-class commercialization of DUPIXENT (dupilumab).

A key responsibility will be to develop and support the short-term and long-term marketing and educational strategies, programs, and tactics associated with marketing this new product in the US. This individual will lead a team responsible for implementing these initiatives for health care providers, payers, consumers, and other key stakeholders. This position will have direct interface with national thought leaders, national patient associations, Global Marketing, R&D, alliance partners, Market Research, Field Medical, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Product Communications, and agency partners.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Translate the science into actionable and impactful marketing and educational strategies and tactics

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the disease state(s), the competitive landscape and the overall market to develop high-impact and differentiating strategies/tactics

  • Manage key thought leader influence and centers of excellence mapping strategy, research & execution

  • Develop educational plan with ownership of specific deliverables

  • Develop the peer-to-peer education strategy and program along with potential outcomes measurement

  • Liaise with Medical leadership, RML team, Publications, Outcomes, EBM, etc. as appropriate

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams that support the brands

  • Manage agencies and vendors as needed to develop and execute tactical marketing and educational programs

  • Serve as the marketing point for medical associations, advocacy, congresses, etc.

  • Advisory Board planning and management

  • Drive internal and alliance stakeholder alignment

Key Capabilities:

  • Proven leadership and strong management experience with building marketing and educational strategic and tactical plans

  • Ability to influence, mobilize and manage a complex set of internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong business and science background

  • Ability to work with Medical experts

  • Experience in pharmaceutical brand/product communications

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

  • Strong presentation skills; strong project management expertise, the ability to bridge marketing and science

  • Alliance management skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum requirements: BA or BSc; MBA ore other advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum 10 years in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry

  • Deep understanding of atopic dermatitis or psoriasis area and market dynamics

  • Previous biologics marketing experience in North America
