The Senior Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for driving demand and building the brand through the development of a marketing a strategy and tactics to help meet the revenue targets. We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead the Global Digital Demand Center within Corporate Marketing.Americas Region.

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will work directly with clients and Akamai’s stakeholders in the different countries to create and execute joint marketing plans with agencies/partners to drive increased visibility and sales of Akamai products.

This role will require both strategic thinking and hands-on execution skills to be successful. The individual will work with Akamai’s marketing team and Regional Marketing Manager to develop joint messaging and positioning, providing collateral and supporting sales tools jointly with partners, managing Akamai’s Market Development Funds (MDF) and development and execution of integrated marketing activities to generate demand to build sales pipeline in the region.

This position reports into the Senior Director of Corporate Marketing, in Cambridge.

Full Responsibilities

¥ Plan and execute cross channel digital marketing campaigns (e.g. display, content distribution) and working in conjunction with search/ social media team to ensure an integrated plan that aligns with business goals

¥ Coordinate the creation, management, and optimization of digital creative, content, and media plans (e.g. online video, banners, landing pages, publishers)

¥ Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against KPI and ROI goals

¥ Identify trends and insights; optimize spend and performance based on the insights

¥ Stay up-to-date with digital media, creative, competitive, and technology developments – provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption

¥ Plan, execute, and measure tests

¥ Evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

¥ Consult on campaign tagging and onsite tracking

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years digital media experience

• Technical B2B Digital Marketing Experience

• Must have experience working with or for an agency

• 4+ years of Management experience, global management experience preferred

• Must be based in the Boston area or New York City

Desired Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

• Experience identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate

• Solid experience with online marketing tools and web-based technologies, including set up and management of programmatic platforms (e.g. DMP, DSP, DCO)

• Experience with A/B and multivariate testing and optimizing landing pages and user funnels

• Working knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends) and ad serving tools (e.g. DART, Atlas)

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints

• Excellent analytical, data driven strategy, and project management skills.
