43175BRAuto req ID:43175BRLocation:USA - MA - Cambridge Business Title:VideographerSub-Unit:------------ Salary Grade:056Time Status:Part-time Union:00 - Non Union, Exempt or Temporary Basic Qualifications:Candidates MUST meet the following basic qualifications in order to be considered for this role• Experience with Adobe Premiere/Final Cut Pro required• Four-year undergraduate degree requiredAdditional Qualifications:• Graduate degree in film preferred• 3 years related experience preferred• Proficient in After Effects, Adobe Premier, Avid, Adobe Suite, Motion, Soundtrack, related time based media software• Professional video production equipment including: Canon (5Dmk3, c300, c100), Sony (FS7, FS5, a7s); PanasonicHDX-900/HVX200; Audio microphone/recorders and mixing; lighting, including modifiers and LED/ambient mix• Must be able to work on multiple projects and complete high-quality work against strict and conflicting deadlines that are dictated by clients and management.• Excellent content judgment• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, verbal and telephone skills• A positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism are essential• Demonstrated editing skills, with examples of remastered content to meet client requestsDepartment:CommunicationsPre-Employment Screening:Criminal, IdentitySchedule:This is a part-time .75 FTE position.Job Function:Communications Duties & Responsibilities:Summary:The Harvard Art Museums seek a videographer who excels in creative expression, script-writing, producing, editing, and storytelling and can handle pre-production, planning, logistics, shooting, editing video and audio. Filming will cover such activities as academic symposia, special events, lectures, interviews, artist/student collaborations, and site documentation.The position requires a strong team player who works well under pressure. The successful candidate will be passionate about filmmaking; have a strong knowledge of current technology; have the ability to take direction; and be a conceptual thinker with the ability to conceive and develop relevant and unique solutions to challenging problems.
