In order to accomplish this we leverage the wealth of Amazon’s information to offer a wide range of experiences around building models, setting up experiments and leverage Amazon’s technological infrastructure to accelerate our machine learning roadmap for Amazon Alexa.

We are looking for Product Manager - Technical to lead the strategic vision and roadmap for our self-service machine learning efforts. In this role, you will have end-to-end product ownership from product vision, feature inception, development, and delivery to release strategies. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data sciences, and product owners to grow the adoption of these capabilities. This is a high impact leadership position that requires vision and initiative, as well as technical depth and analytical rigor. In this area, subtle changes can have material impact on our velocity.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Develop product vision, strategy, business plans, and metrics.

  • Define business and technical product requirements.

  • Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders.

  • 5+ years in product management is required

  • Experience with Machine Learning or Data Science related fields.

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or related discipline.

  • 4+ years work experience with SQL and Excel in product/program management responsibilities.

  • 4+ years experience delivering written reports and proposals, as well as leading review meetings.

  • Masters degree in an analytical field is desired.

  • Experience with Machine Learning or Data Science related fields.

  • Experience with statistical modeling, dataming and machine learning (R, Python, SAS, etc.).
