Sanofi Group Mgr Account Business Mgmt in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Responsible for building and leading a national team of Account Business Managers while managing all related functions and managing additional strategic projects. Promote optimum level of customer service while meeting the business goals of the department and corporation. Manage personnel appropriately to ensure timely and accurate collections for all Therapeutic accounts totaling 500 million annually. Maintain the days sales outstanding target level of 65 days for all Rare Disease products. Maintain relationships with Specialty Distributors. Advise/consult Regional Managers and Regional Directors to ensure overall success of the treatment management process. Manage relationships between Account Business Management, Commercial Operations, Patient & Product Services, Demand Management, Corporate Accounts, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Sanofi’s centralized services teams, and other internal and external customers. Oversight of SAP master data integrity for the Rare Disease Sales Organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) for all Rare Disease products nationally (annual Ensuring data integrity and timely entry of information into SAP by staff.

  • Develop and execute programs that focus on effective collaboration among Genzyme Rare Disease, distributors, drop ship and direct accounts nationally.

  • Responsible for driving the development and implementation of short and long term strategies for the national distribution of ERT products.

  • Actively participate and be responsible for the hiring, training, and development of staff members. Make associated compensation and department structure decisions.

  • Ensure appropriate scheduling for all direct reports across all products and regions and work collaboratively with other departments.

  • Manage essential tracking and measurement systems. Implement programs, tools, and assessments to aid in continued development of direct reports.

  • Manage the progress of multiple strategic projects (distribution strategy for the launch of new products, customer profiling, etc) and prioritize with respect to timelines while meeting project milestones.

  • Complete other special projects as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s required, MBA or graduate degree preferred. Six + years relevant experience required. Thorough knowledge and experience in the healthcare delivery and reimbursement process including AR, AP, collections, and 3rd party billing. This position requires an individual with proven strategic thinking, leadership, negotiation and influence skills. Excellent communication (both verbal and written), organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain complex sensitive issues to others. Ability to travel required.
