About the Job:
Akamai is currently seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to add to our growing Marketing Enablement team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementation of new processes and marketing automation functionality. You will work with program marketers and campaign owners from around the world to develop innovating digital marketing programs that continuously push into new areas of Akamai. You will act as a champion of change and inspire others to learn, test, and look at things differently.
Partner with global campaigns and field marketing teams to implement programs that continuously improve our digital marketing KPIs
Partner with marketing operations team to define and implement new functionality and lead new implementation projects
Continuously analyze operational process to find and implement new efficiencies
Continuously analyze and expose program successes and failures to all program marketers so the organization can learn from each other.
Develop new and update existing documentation and training to end users
Required Education and Experience:
Experience with content strategy and governance including digital optimization, content and editorial quality
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
Experience with service design and/or customer journey map
Experience in social media, online video creation, and website strategy management
Experience optimizing digital assets to maximize user/conversion funnels
Basic understanding and experience with SEO
5 years of Digital Marketing experience and a Bachelor's degree or 3 years experience with an advanced degree,
Demonstrable experience creating, leading and managing marketing, CRM, and/or communication database campaigns
Demonstrable experience successfully utilizing marketing automation software for lead management, customer base marketing, email marketing and mobile marketing
Demonstrable experience designing and managing user funnels and conversion funnels
Demonstrable experience creating and implementing email campaigns
Ability to harness changing integration abilities among digital tools/platforms to maximize project/client goals
Demonstrable ability to multi-task in an unstructured work environment
