Duties & Responsibilities Operate a wide range of video capture equipment in a studio environment including, but not limited to, multiple cinema-style video cameras and lenses, pedestals, teleprompters, video routers and switchers with live keying capabilities, video recorders and monitors, a lighting grid with dmx control, audio console, and microphones. Create and maintain an inventory database for equipment, warranty coverage plans, and damage and repair reports; Perform weekly physical inventory checks to keep equipment and the database up-to-date; Maintain equipment and repairs, plan for expendables and replacement parts; Supervise and perform pre-sets (reset), and clean-up of studio equipment and setups. Oversee studio scheduling and workflow; Supervise productions; In consultation with the manager of the Media Production Center and Hauser Studio hire, train, schedule, and supervise temp staff; Communicate in a timely manner with clients regarding all aspects of using the Hauser studio; In consultation with the manager, oversee budget and maintain it within operating guidelines to ensure that it remains balanced. Some overtime work will be required.

Basic Qualifications Minimum of three years full-time experience operating all levels of equipment associated with a video capture studio. Ability to lift 50 pounds and to use a ladder. At least two years successful completion of college courses.

Additional Qualifications Minimum of five years full-time experience running a video capture facility and operating all levels of equipment associated with a video studio; college degree in a related field; proficiency with professional video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere, highly-developed media management and customer service skills, experience coaching on-camera talent and interacting with VIP personalities, and experience producing videos in an academic or industrial environment.
