Ability to navigate email content management systems such as Constant Contact or WordFly. Department:Marketing & CommunicationsPre-Employment Screening:Identity Schedule:Mon. - Fri. 35hrs./wk.Job Function:Arts Duties & Responsibilities:Under the leadership of Artistic Director, Diane Paulus the American Repertory Theater aims to expand the boundaries of theater and engage thousands of theatergoers at more than 300 performances and events each theater season. The Marketing and Communications department is responsible for building and maintaining the organizational brand and implementing sales strategies that result in more than $5MM in annual earned revenue. Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer, the Digital Graphics and Design Fellow is a new position in the Marketing and Communications department and will be a stakeholder in executing the strategies surrounding artistic, community, and education programs. The Digital Graphics and Design Fellow is responsible for supporting the graphic and digital presence of the theater, contributing to the conceptualization and execution of both web- and print-based initiatives. Primary responsibilities for the position include developing content and supporting the creation of marketing communications such as: print collateral, including the A.R.T. seasonal Guides and programs; direct mail; display materials; advertisements, including print, digital, and social advertisements; email communications; and promotional videos. The Fellow will collaborate on digital marketing needs and implementation; assist on the development, maintenance, and updates to the A.R.T. websites and mobile websites; create and implement Google Adword campaigns and assist with SEO strategy; and provide general technical support for digital content activities, including the digital archiving of various media. This position will also provide the team regular analysis of current strategies and campaigns for social media, digital activity, and email campaigns; research and recommend new digital tools, technologies, and social media outlets; and assist with maintaining consistent branding standards across all platforms. The Digital Graphics and Design Fellow interfaces with other departments within the organization including Literary, Artistic, and Development teams, aligning and facilitating departmental communications.
