Responsibilities

The Multi-Platform Production Assistant is a core member of our digital team, focused on cohesion between all of our platforms, from linear, to digital and social. A successful candidate will have an interested in writing, editing, and storytelling with a sports focus.

Qualifications/Requirements

u>Job Duties

  • Edit vides from linear programming to website and social media accounts

  • Edit and produce higher leverage videos using graphics

  • Work with Drupal content management system to produce content

  • Maintain and manage on-air ticker for programming alerts and breaking news

  • Assist digital, social media, and original content teams in field production

  • Research statistics & stories on the internet

  • Coordinate, gather & input news for network ticker

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedBasic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in TV Studio Production (internships included)

  • Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice

  • Must be able to lift 25lbs and set/strike studio/remote gear

Desired Characteristics

Desired Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of local/national sports landscapes

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere / Final Cut Pro strongly preferred

  • General knowledge of social media and how to use it to gather news

  • Proficiency in INEWS or similar newsroom management system

  • Familiar with video production gear
