The Global Treasury Management Product Controls Manager function directly supports a large and complex Treasury Management business, balancing growth with risk and governance to run the business in a strong control environment. This position leads a team focuses on developing a proactive first line of defense control approach which promotes efficiency, reduces the risk of loss and helps to drive strategic objectives.
Lead a small team and work across the organization to deploy and manage a risk-based approach and streamline process, while ensuring compliance and alignment with bank-wide policies and procedures, external standards and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with Wholesale Banking Risk organization and Product Managers to maintain oversight over emerging and existing key risks, controls and corrective actions.
Provide training and awareness on risks and controls to Product Management.
Coordinate approval process for new Products and changes to existing Products through a structured organizational process.
Report results/metrics/ other key control concerns quarterly to senior management.
Be the Product Management lead in Fraud Management related initiatives.
Represent Product organization in all internal and external audits, reviews and examinations.
Track, monitor and report related issues and their associated CAPs and promptly escalating CAPs that are at risk of missing their target dates.
7 years in Product Management, Risk Management or Control Management-related role within a Wholesale Banking or Treasury Management environment.
Strong understanding of Product Management business processes within Treasury Management space and knowledge of Cash Management products as well as Operations and Technology infrastructure in this business.
Up-to-date understanding of key risk and control concepts, tools and trends relating to risk identification, rating and prioritization, mitigation, and reporting.
Familiarity and/or experience with KYC/AML rules and regulations.
Process mapping experience. - Risk-based thinking and analytical mindset.
Self-starter who can work independently as well as manage a team of specialists.
