Strategic Account Director

The Strategic Account Director is an Executive-level position dedicated to driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth with Rocket’s most strategic customers and partners (e.g. ISVs, OEMs, Systems Integrators). The Strategic Account Director will manage the overall relationship with 2 named accounts, either direct end-user customers, or strategic partners. The Strategic Account Director will become a “trusted advisor” to his customers, helping them solve problems, and bringing solutions from across the broad portfolio, based on an in-depth understanding of the customers’ unique needs and goals. The Strategic Account Director will develop trust-based relationships across his customers’ organizations.

  • 10+ years of strategic sales experience, with successful track record of selling enterprise software
  • Deep experience in either selling directly to end customers or in closely managing strategic-partner relationships to drive sales
  • Experience with or other CRM system
  • Deep industry experience with in the same sectors as named accounts
  • Proven track record of consistent sales performance with C-level IT executives
  • Ability to match or create technical software solutions based on needs
  • Proven leadership of enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Ability to mentor and develop less experienced sales personnel
  • Worked effectively both in a matrix team environment and independently to achieve results
