Research, write, and produce timely responses to retirement plan Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), intermediary databases, publisher surveys, ad-hoc requests, and other related inquiries from prospective and current clients. Partner with the retirement sales division to deliver high quality, competitive output

that drives sales results.

  • Collaborate with Sales partners to produce complex, high quality proposals that contain responses obtained through a variety of resources including the RFP content management system, Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other colleagues across the organization as necessary.

  • Manage overall project requirements and milestones, communicate proactively, coordinate internal strategy meetings, outsource questions, format documents, create compliance-approved custom content, and provide document quality review.

  • Oversee project milestones and ensure output is consistent with all required proposal standards and business objectives.

  • Coordinate final document distribution and ensure external deliverables are met.

  • Train and mentor team members, and serve as a resource for market-specific support. Clearly articulate challenges through verbal and written communication to build consensus with our business partners.

  • Collaborate with business partners across the organization to deliver consistent messaging in the marketplace.

  • Assist with internal content library maintenance by submitting material and non-material change requests as well as new Q&A pairings.

  • Update internal tracking systems for real time reporting purposes. Impact a range of ongoing product and process initiatives.

  • Lead and serve as a key contributor on cross-functional projects, process enhancements, special projects.

  • Support a range of project complexities; primarily above average and complex projects, with added supoort for simple and average projects as volumes demand.

  • Perform review of proposals to ensure accuracy of data and provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related discipline

  • Minimum five to seven years’ experience in retirement plan services or RFP-related role desired

  • Understanding of investment and retirement terminology desired

  • Excellent interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills

  • Demonstrate ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail

  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results and resolving issues in creative ways

  • Ability to think critically and draw from several resources to create simple, unified, persuasive output

  • Mentor others with less tenure or expertise

  • Network with key contacts outside own functional area

  • Proficiency with MS Office, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Qvidian

  • FINRA Series 6 registration required within 90 days of hire
