CVS Health Sr Product Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

The Senior Product Manager for Specialty Digital, as a direct report of the Director of Specialty Digital, will work closely with members of the CVS Specialty leadership team and with a wide range of digital, business,operations, and sales leaders to define the plan and lead the execution that will bring the vision for the Specialty digital patient experience to life,delivering significant results in the process. In addition, this individual will focus on defining the patient roadmap for the business based on consumer needs as well as corporate priorities and operational requirements and will diligently manage the product and feature set on a committed basis overtime. Leveraging this knowledge and market perspective, this individual will be responsible for establishing and managing the plan for digital growth platforms and then supporting the cross-functional, cross-business unit implementation of identified programs and products.

Specific responsibilities include:

-Develop and maintain program plans for building large-scale digital growth that substantially enhance the consumer experience and address Specialty Digital’s strategic and financial objectives

-To include all aspects of product development including vision setting and refinement, strategic analysis and roadmap development in collaborative planning processes that build cross-functional, cross-business unit alignment Taking on end-to-end ownership of digital messaging projects and successfully delivering results in a dynamic and complex healthcare environment.

-Drive the definition, development and deployment of messaging capabilities that substantially enhance the consumer experience and address CVS Specialty’s strategic and financial objectives (including CRM and other personalization platforms)

-Work closely with our Specialty pharmacy & Clinical Innovation team and other key business partners to collect requirements, understand and help identify business value, understand required capabilities, translate these to technical product requirements.

Define the product vision, roadmap, and supporting metrics required to deliver and enhance a best-in-class Specialty patient digital experience.

Comprehensively manage portfolio of offerings end-to-end, including business case development.

Develop and maintain strategic plans and activation strategies for building a multi-vehicle customer and member strategy to drive digital product awareness and trial, engagement, loyalty and advocacy to deliver large-scale digital growth and substantially enhance the digital experience.

Integrate a unified experience to support Specialty Digital needs for ecommerce, adherence and payment needs Structured and logical thinking, including ability to dissect a problem into an organized approach and form a hypothesis against which to conduct requisite analyses and maintain a high attention to detail.

Develop robust insights to inform conclusions and recommendations by leveraging market research, competitive benchmarking, scenario planning, and other strategy tools.

Establish thought leadership and become a true expert in health innovations in the digital ecosystem by all means necessary:

-Developing senior level contacts in the digital health and investment communities

-Ongoing analysis and assessment of industry trends and customer needs/requirements

-Leveraging third party resources (e.g. Forrester, consultants, agencies) and technology providers

-Conducting primary customer research with consumers, members, providers, etc.

Drive broad organizational engagement in online growth strategy development through:

-Passionate, inspired leadership

-Facilitate dialogue with broad group of cross-Digital, cross-functional, and cross-enterprise teams

-Energetic partnering and relationship development across CVS/Specialty

Required Qualifications:

-Minimum of 8+ years professional experience in a strategic planning, digital product management, digital marketing, strategy consulting, and/or innovation leadership role with a demonstrated track record of high achievement and progressive responsibility

-At least 5+ years of experience driving broad-based experience in the evaluation, optimization, and application of digital technologies and media, digital reporting and analytics

-5+ years of demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and interpret key trends that present strategic growth opportunities for the company and deliver sound strategic recommendations with robust business cases 5+ years of analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to link product design and features to strategic objectives and use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations

Preferred Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in formulating deep understanding of consumer behavior, within ecommerce and digital transactions, combined with creativity and nimbleness to deal with complexity and to quickly identify potential solutions and sources of value

-Strengths in structured and logical thinking, including ability to dissect a problem into an organized approach and form a hypothesis against which to conduct requisite analyses and maintain a high attention to detail

-Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to link product design and features to strategic objectives and use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations

-Passion for the digital ecosystem and how innovations can meaningfully drive engagement, empowerment, and the overall consumer experience and drive the company’s objectives

-Consumer-centric orientation with proven track-record of developing and acting on customer insights based on programs optimized for digital

-Entrepreneurial, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a strong work ethic

-Ability to adapt to changing priorities, be decisive under ambiguity, and meet compressed timelines

-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate complicated concepts and recommended courses of action to engage diverse audiences and influence senior executives

-Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead initiatives, establish strong working relationships, as well as partnering interdependently as required

-Experience in leadership involving direct, indirect, and non-reports Healthcare industry experience preferred and Specialty conditions (Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, HIV, Transplant operations, Hepatitis C, Oncology, etc.) experience a plus

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Masters Preferred.
