Essential Responsibilities:

The Partner Enablement Sr Manager is responsible for the consistent development, deployment, and continual improvement of engaging technical, sales, industry, and solution delivery training for GE Digital’s global partner ecosystem and channels.

Our global partner ecosystem requires a unique mix of product, sales, and technical enablement in the form in-person workshops, regional cohorts, or train-the-trainer programs. Our goal is to not only deliver against requests for custom curriculum and training, but also create a body of standard frameworks and curriculum that are scalable and can be rapidly deployed globally.

We are looking for a proven leader and experienced Curriculum Developer who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has a strong training and development background. In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing and developing high quality training content for technical and non-technical Partner Enablement learning programs. You will play a crucial role in the training and development of a successful and effective global partner ecosystem.

The role requires an individual who is knowledgeable in adult learning and instructional design strategies for performance-based outcomes, can innovate, move quickly, and not be constrained by how things have been done before.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Global Partner Enablement and works across GE Digital with associated teams to create, manage, coordinate and deliver training (globally) to our partners. This will include select duties as instructional designer, curriculum developer, project manager, and content developer. Successful candidates must work cross-functionally with Product Management & Marketing, Industry, Education, Sales Enablement, and Services teams to develop curriculum and deliver training programs.

In this role, you will:

  • Own and drive the strategy, design, and creation of custom Partner Enablement curriculum globally

  • Design, develop, and maintain instructor-led and eLearning in the form of standard and custom end-user and train-the-trainer curriculum for Partner-specific and Regional Workshops to drive rapid sales enablement and implementation readiness

  • Develop strategic relationships and collaborate with GE Digital and 3rd party Instructors, Sales Enablement, Education Teams, Professional Services, Product Management & Marketing, and Industry Business Units to ensure accuracy of course content, product messaging, and for relevancy of course offerings

  • Define course requirements, learning objectives, and training deliverables (including presentations, manuals, supporting handouts, exercises, and group activities that support the course objectives) based on business needs and audience analysis

  • Manage requests from Partner Account Directors and Partners for custom workshops, and serve as the partner enablement go-to person for understanding key sales deals to drive sales, SA, and delivery readiness

  • Work in a variety of mediums – including print, webinars, classroom participant guides, eLearning, and video – to develop curriculum and materials that are appealing, interactive, and useful for our target audience

  • Develop a comprehensive framework and methodology for curriculum design and development including audience learning objectives and goals, cognitive learning levels, workshop formats, delivery schedules, and training delivery to learners

  • Manage ongoing course development and continuous improvement through delivery of pilot classes

  • Evaluate effectiveness and feedback from workshops, measure outcomes, plan improvements, drive content roadmaps with the Business and Product teams Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university

  • 6 years’ experience developing functional and technical adult learning content

  • 3 years’ experience managing course curriculum

  • 3 years’ experience with CRM, LMS and CMSEligibility Requirements:

  • Be a key influencer in organization-wide curriculum development programs by identifying gaps in existing learning offerings, providing recommendations, and determining potential classes and topics for future development

  • Ensure that all deliverables meet schedule, resource, and quality goals

  • Identify risks and develop contingency plans; resolve issues and respond to stakeholder concerns Desired Characteristics:

  • History of developing and deploying training in multiple formats (eg. Print media, electronic documents, web pages, audio or podcast, multimedia presentations and training modules, distance learning components and deliverables).

  • Demonstrated high standard for clear, concise communication (written and verbal)

  • Strong understanding of training technology and adult learning concepts

  • Classroom (physical and virtual) instructional skills are a strength

  • Superior verbal & written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to take strategy and turn it into “learnable” modules.

  • Strong knowledge of the following core development tools: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, CSS and HTML, screen-casting software (Camtasia, etc.), e-learning software (Lectora, Articulate, Captivate, etc.).

  • Strong understanding and practical skills with of IS/IT systems (eg. Server & client OS, Databases & client tools, queries, web technologies)

  • Comfortable in a demanding, IT-intensive environment.

  • Existing portfolio of training content created and/or delivered

  • Experience serving global markets
