MOUNTAIN, LTD. is currently seeking a Sourcing Specialist for a major client in Boston, MA

Job Description:

This role starts off as a 2 month contract

Starting rate is $35-37/hr.


  • Generates talent prospects and pipelines for active and future needs for a variety of technical, analytical or specialized positions at all levels:

  • Identifies and develops candidate pools at all levels for a defined business segment for active or future needs

  • Partners with recruiters and hiring managers to problem solve, create go-to-market strategies, and define candidate identification strategy for assigned role

  • Conducts market analysis and industry research to inform and develop sourcing strategy

  • Sources potential and passive candidates through direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, extensive name generation research and relationship building

  • Continually expands network and prospect pipelines through leveraging user groups, blogs and networking events

  • Clearly articulates and sells value proposition to candidates via networking events, professional networks and phone interactions

  • Generates candidate interest through creative marketing and social media messaging

  • Prequalify potential candidates to determine qualifications through profiling, trait assessments and behavioral based phone screening

  • Operates with a candidate first mindset ensuring all candidates (regardless of individuals eventual disposition on a search) receive a high level of communication and transparency of status

  • Utilizes full functionality of CRM to manage and document the sourcing process

  • Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions to improve recruiting service delivery


  • 5+ years as research associate, candidate developer or full life cycle recruiter in a corporate or agency setting

  • Proficiency and passion for research and sourcing through direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, name generation research and networking

  • Experience utilizing Boolean search methodology and Chrome Extensions

  • Resourceful hunter and networker who derives motivation from prospecting and understands importance of cultivating long-term relationships with candidates

  • Influential and creative written and verbal communication to develop appealing and tailored messaging to prospects that elicits response and effectively conveys our brand

  • Highly collaborative and views candidate development, and those managing the effort to close candidates, as one team accomplishing the same mission and measured with the same goals

  • Experience utilizing web-based applicant tracking or candidate relationship management systems

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management

  • Able to flex and problem solve to manage competing demands in a fast paced, metric driven environment

  • Results oriented self-starter with track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic and integrity
