Partner with business leadership to manage external communications for Current, powered by GE. Participate in long-term plans & contribute to overall business strategy. Drive external communications program in partnership with the commercial and marketing organizations. Collaborate to identify and amplify stories within our business. This role reports to the Chief Communications Officer.
Key Responsibilities include :
Lead external communications strategy and execution of communication plans with external parties, within the Company, and across the business
Develop market communications engagement that supports the business strategy
Develop communications materials including press releases, trade articles, op-eds, speeches, etc.
Provide efficient communication execution with customers, business leaders, and the media
Align and integrate communication plans across multiple organizations. Integrate marketing / customer communications to strengthen the Current Powered by GE brand
Influence at the senior level and develop content to deliver complex messaging Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited University or College
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Customer / Marketing Communications Desired Characteristics:
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
