U.S. Bank Sales Manager - Non Lending 1 in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Develop profitable new prepaid account relationships and increase profitability from existing accounts. Drive new business through partnerships with internal U.S. Bank Relationship Managers. Identify and solicit business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services. Make sales presentations to current and prospective clients. Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales. Establish and maintain good public relationships within the community to enhance the organization's image and promote new business. Work well individually as wells as with a team.

A senior experienced sales position is responsible for developing profitable new business account relationships and increasing profitability from existing accounts. This position requires solid experience in handling large and complex accounts and working directly with clients at the senior management level. This position is responsible for selling products and services to highly sensitive and important accounts. This position exercises a great deal of judgment and has decision-making authority that can have a significant impact on the business unit. A substantial amount of time is spent in direct, face-to-face contact with the client or prospect. Requires travel and meeting with clients and prospects. Experience selling prepaid products to mid to large size businesses is a plus.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Five or more years of sales experience in the financial services industry

Preferred Skills/Experience :

  • Previous experience in the prepaid debit card marketplace

  • Advanced knowledge of sales and sales strategies

  • Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends

  • Excellent marketing and business development/sales skills

  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills

  • Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
